Lucy wanted a quiet baby shower over lunch in a pub in Winchmore Hill. Lucy didn't know whether she was expecting a girl or a boy so we decided to go for a baby pink and baby blue theme! I got there and decorated the table. I put the balloons as a centre piece. They consisted of a baby shower foiled ballon with 4 baby pink and 4 baby blue latex balloons. At the end of the table I sat the cake stand with the delicious homemade cupcakes on which everyone had as desert! The pub kindly let me put banners on the wall. Upon arrival Lucy was given a Mum to be Sash and Mum to be Tiara to wear throughout her baby shower! Everyone bought gifts for Lucy which she opened during lunch. After lunch various games were played which included the tummy tape game. Everyone had to guess on the tape the width of Mummy to be's bump. At the end of the game Mummy to be's bumb was measured and who ever guessed the right measurement or the closest measurement won a prize!
Lucy very kindly wrote a message after her baby shower which you will see below:
My pitterpatter baby shower was so much fun and brilliantly organised. It was a great opportunity to spend time with friends before the baby arrives. It was a really relaxing afternoon and having Pitterpatter to organise it took all of the stress out of it for us all to sit back have fun and enjoy the time together - including the fun baby shower party games such as guess the size of the bump and baby bingo!
I would recommend a Pitterpatter baby shower to anyone as the attention to detail was amazing with every detail covered including the amazing cupcakes and decorations and the lovely thoughtful presents - which were more for me than the baby which was really thoughtful and made me feel really special!
